Life Struggles

Do y’all have these moments?! I really don’t want to be the only one, seriously. I get so frustrated and a lot of it has to do with living on my own, I think. . I can’t stand when my place is a mess! So why do I make it messy? I can’t stand to do laundry and fold and put away clothes! So why do I wash them?πŸ˜‚ I can’t stand my pile up of dishes! Why do I keep them waiting for next year to roll around until I wash them? I can’t stand my bathroom and room being messy after I feel like I just cleaned it! Why do I throw clothes around on the floor and why do I put the entire kitchen sink on my bathroom counter? Can I just let out a huge SCREAM. Sometimes life is life and it’s messy and stressful and uninspiring. (I don’t feel the least bit inspired to want to clean right now) so I’m not. I’m eating chocolate and watching Netflix movies because I don’t feel like dealing with all this CRAP. I’m really not sure where I’m going with this post at all. I’m just having one of those pull my hair out and scream kind of days. Who else relates?

Sincerely a very stressed lonely blogger in Asheville Nc. Hopefully tomorrow is better 😐

  1. I was never a super neat person but each year as I get older it seems easier to clean as I go. I do clean as I cook. The deal is as long as you are happy, do what you like.

  2. Chocolate and Netflix. You have hit the perfect de-stress button right there πŸ˜‰ I am usually the one picking after my husband. Socks here, little vials of e-cigarette liquid there, shorts flung on the bed…you know, the works. So I have no other course but to sort it out right there and then πŸ˜‰

  4. You should see my kitchen! Haha, but seriously, I totally relate with this. You just have to take baby steps to get everything done. I’ll do one or two things one day, and save the rest of the work for another. I don’t want to drive myself completely nuts πŸ˜›

  5. I enjoyed reading this because I can totally relate. I like to clean up immediately so I don’t pile up stuff and I always catch myself picking up after others. Sometimes though, I just don’t wanna do anything and leave everywhere a mess.

  6. Giiirrrrllllllllllllll, YES! This has been me all week. I’ve been a mess. My room and my closet look like a tornado ran through it and I just have ZERO desire to do ANYTHING about it despite the fact that it’s driving me insane. Aunt Flo came to visit (sorry TMI) this morning and I’m just feeling down right blah! We’ll get there…eventually! lol. xoxo

  7. Ahhh you sound just like me! I long to spend my time blogging but I have so much housework and cleaning up after my little boy, he makes the mess and I clean it up, unfair arrangement haha! Sometimes it’s really overwhelming and I struggle, I try to take one thing at a time and reward myself for every small thing, every bit is progress! xx

  8. Hope today was better for you. Breathe, write down all the good your life. Health, appreciation that you have an apartment. Yes, life can be tough, but there’s always an opportunity to shift your mental antenna to a positive space. xx
